Russian Missile Strikes Kill Five in Ukraine: Tragedy in Dnipro

In a tragic night of violence, Russian missile strikes killed five people in Ukraine, including a child in the city of Dnipro. Three others were killed in attacks on Kyiv and nearby areas. The governor of Dnipropetrovsk, Sergiy Lysak, reported that 19 people were injured in Dnipro, with four of them being children. A two-story residential building was destroyed, and rescuers were seen digging through rubble.

In Kyiv, a separate attack resulted in two fatalities, including a teenage girl from a drone strike. Ukrainian cities, especially Kyiv, have faced continuous drone and missile attacks during Russia’s invasion. As winter approaches, Kyiv is urgently seeking more air defense support from its allies to protect against these escalating assaults on energy infrastructure.
