The Osun State Police Command has issued a warning to residents, particularly women, to be cautious of internet fraudsters known as “yahoo boys.” These criminals have expanded their activities to include ritual killings.
Police spokesperson Yemisi Opalola stated that these fraudsters lure victims, mainly women, to secluded places to kill them and harvest their body parts for rituals.
The police urge the public, especially young women, to be vigilant and report suspicious activities. The command is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and visitors and will continue to pursue and prosecute those involved in these crimes.
